Greetings, Mechwarriors!
Operation Dread Harvest finished up last night, and we had a blast into the wee hours. Lots of folks came out to game, and it was great to see everyone. We even had a few Newbloods prepare to step up to the plate! All in all, this week's operation was a great time for the company as we went rollicking through MWO!
The graphic above gives the information for what is essentially the same lance that completed the 12-drop requirement. We did many drops with many lance configurations over the three nights of Dread Harvest. Lots of people played, but a lot of lance formations didn't make it for 12 drops over the period of time that was allotted. For those of you that came and played, and your progress isn't noted here, don't despair. We learned a lot about running these events over the week, and the next operation will have more features and objectives.
You can see a marked improvement in the two lances. The Early Stage lance was done on the first night, the Late Stage lance done on the last. The scores are logged, and in a later post I'll be speaking about what those numbers mean and how we attained them. What I'll tell you for certain is that the first lance did not meet our expectations for anything as we were all over the place on lance planning and execution. By the time it was over, we had the scores we wanted. We still need to address attrition, but we're still either average or under-performing our projection in other areas. Still, it got much better towards the end - and with more practices like this we can only get better!
Thanks to everyone who came out to play, and hung in there - striving to keep the Capellan Confederation safe. Loyalty and valor are the two things House Liao prizes the most, and our action on Lumptur exemplifies these ideals. Yet this is just the beginning - grander wars and more powerful enemies await us.
The honor is ours.
