You've Come A Long Way, Gatekeepers

You may have noticed some strange things afoot at the Circle-K.  A few weeks ago, we announced that the battalion would be undergoing a transformation.  We deliberated on this for quite some time, but finally we had all the opinions and information we needed.  So it is that today (a most auspicious day, if I do say so myself) that we've transformed into an entirely new entity.  Almost the entire network has been changed, and over the next few weeks we'll see even more changes and additions.  However, the groundwork has been laid today - and from today forward we are [W4RG]!

The slate has been wiped clean, and we'll proceed forward from here.  The Wargate ONLINE is an online gaming club, but you can refer to it as a unit, guild, league - whatever.  As a group, we'll decide and focus on certain games to the extent of others - but we like all games.  We're no longer married to MWO (but we still see it on the weekends), and this departure has breathed life back into our club.

By now, most of you know that we have decided to focus on MWO and DCUO.  These games will have operations nights, and the calendar in the Operations tab has already been updated.  We will expand the current website beyond where it is today and you'll see some of the other tabs restored.  As well as this, the website Archive and the category tags have been rearranged to allow for an expansion of content within a new framework.

What else has happened to the network?  All the relevant points have been changed, so let's go over the new network architecture.  Let's go over the major points that occurred today:

• The website url has changed.  Houseliao.org will still bring you here, but the proper url is w4rg.blogspot.com or w4rg.thewargate.com.
• Facebook main page has changed name to facebook.com/w4rgate.
• Facebook Community group has changed to facebook.com/groups/w4rgate.
• Facebook Command Staff group has changed to facebook.com/groups/w4rgCommand.
• The club's Twitter is now twitter.com/w4rgate.

The old Facebook pages will be disposed of later tonight.  However, they have already fallen by the wayside as folks started checking out what we were doing on the network from early this morning.  More changes are incoming with a new slew of updates, so brace yourselves.

We mean to improve your experience in the club with these modifications, and they have been well received by our player base.We are in high spirits, and are excited about this new phase of our journeys.  Thank you so much for your support.
