Physical Description: Stands 6'0", slightly overweight, brown eyes and long grey curly hair with trimmed goatee. Cybernetic right forearm, eye and right jawline. Numerous Liaoist tattoos.
Military History: Trained as a Mechwarrior from youth on Cadiz in the Taruian Concordant. Further training on Pirate's Haven after abduction in 3030. Fled Pirate's Haven for Grand Base, eventually catching the eye of a Warrior House ambassador. Joined House Ma-Tsu-Kai and served with distinction, but was expunged from the Warrior House for conduct unbecoming.
Open Background: Galvez was born on Cadiz in the Taurian Concordant to an extremely wealthy and influential family. He was trained early as a mechwarrior after showing great ability in this vein. At the age of 15 he was abducted by a raiding party from Pirate's Haven, and put up for ransom.
Despite protests from his mother, no ransom would be met as Galvez's father was killed in the melee of the raid, and his older brother (now head of the family)bore a long-held grudge of jealousy toward his younger sibling. He own blood left him in the clutches of the ruthless pirates. Galvez was therefore forced to prove his worth as a Mechwarrior, and was a part of at least 2 dozen successful raids into Davion Space.
After gaining a solid reputation amongst the pirates, he was allowed to buy his freedom, as well as a Raven 'Mech and transport off Pirate's Haven. He immediately went to Cadiz to settle a personal score. After that, Galvez ventured coreward into Liao Space. While on a training maneuver for a spot in a Capellan militia unit, he was spotted by an ambassador for Warrior House Ma-Tsu-Kai and was sent packing to Wazan. Though he served valiantly, and on numerous occasions saved his fellow House warriors' skins in the heat of battle, Galvez contracted an STD on Betelgeuse while on leave. Galvez, stricken thus, was unable to join the House on an important assignment.
The indiscretion was considered "conduct unbecoming a House Ma-Tsu-Kai warrior" and he was drummed from the unit. Jumping around to and from various mercenary units, Galvez then landed a spot with the 286th Highlander Dragoons. There he spent many months patrolling the Draconis March in the service of the detestable Federated Suns.
During this employment by the 286th, Galvez was able to inflict nominal sabotage damage to Fed Suns installations and ‘Mechs, disabling an entire Company of Ceti Hussars right before they were planned to deploy along the Draconis March. Finishing out his contract with the Dragoons and desiring to get the fetid stink of Davion off his ‘Mech, Galvez has returned to Liao space and landed a spot with the Gatekeepers on Purvo.
